Welcome to Lent in our cluster parishes of St. Joseph, St. Mary and Saints Peter and Paul. For me, the 40 days of Len come as a relief. There’s the Lenten call to simplify and consume less, to be still and listen for God’s voice, and to break free of the trap of living for myself alone. Once I hear that call and respond, even in a small, inadequate way, I feel relief, a surge of well-being.
