You are invited to join Catholics throughout the country for 40 days of prayer, penance, and vigils that God may move the heart of our na-tion towards attitudes that protect and promote the dignity of all human life from conception to natural death. 40 Days for Life in our dio-cese began on September 25.
Also, our parish cluster has a special day for public witness. On October 16, we hope to keep a commitment to keep constant prayer and witness in front of the Planned Parenthood facility, 12 Case St., in Norwich. Our commit-ment lasts from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can sign up for an hour (or more, if you wish) at the in-formation table at the rear of our church. The purpose of our vigil is prayer and quiet, steady witness against abortion and for the lives of the unborn.
