The Octave of Christmas, January 1. This day is a “holy day of obligation”. This important day encompasses many celebrations: The Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, New Year’s Day, World Day of Prayer for Peace, and Independence Day for Haiti.

7:00 p.m. St. Mary Church (in Spanish) 


Masses during the day, Jan. 1 

8:30 a.m. St. Joseph Church (Polish and English) 

10:00 a.m. St. Peter and Paul 

12:00 p.m. St. Mary (Haitian Creole) 


After the 12:00 p.m. Haitian Mass, all are welcome to a traditional Haitian celebration, sharing great food including squash soup (Soup Joumou).
