Holy Week Schedule

Palm Sunday, April 14

We follow the usual Sunday schedule. At the following Masses, worshippers are invited to gather in front of the church (weather permitting) for a solemn entrance:

8:15 a.m. Saint Joseph’s

9:45 a.m. Saint Mary’s (Spanish) and 12:30 p.m. (Creole)

10:00 a.m. Saints Peter and Paul’s

Chrism Mass, Tuesday, April 16, Saint Patrick Cathedral, 10:15 a.m.

All are invited to this solemn Mass in which sacramental oils are blessed and the priests of the diocese renew their promises. After Mass, come to a light lunch at Saints Peter and Paul’s.

Confessions:

Holy Thursday, April 18, 10 to 11:30 a.m. @ St. Mary’s

Holy Saturday, April 20 , 1 to 3 pm at Saint Joseph

Holy Thursday, April 18, Mass of the Lord’s Supper (multicultural)

Saint Peter and Paul’s, 7:00 p.m. Mass ends with a solemn procession to the place of Eucharistic reservation. Worshippers are invited to watch and pray before the Blessed Sacrament until 11 p.m.

Good Friday, April 19

11:00 a.m., Children’s Way of the Cross at Saints Peter and Paul’s

11:00 a.m., Way of the Cross (Haitian Creole) at St. Mary’s

3:00 p.m., Commemoration of the Lord’s Passion, (multicultural) at St. Mary’s

6 p. m. Ecumenical Way of the Cross with Bishop Cote at Saint Patrick Cathedral.

6 p.m. Evening Way of the Cross (English) at St. Joseph’s

6 p.m. Evening Way of the Cross (Spanish) at St. Mary’s

Holy Saturday, April 20

10 a.m. and 12 p. m. Blessing of Food at St. Joseph’s

10:30 a.m. Easter Egg Hunt at Saints Peter and Paul’s

Easter Celebrations, April 20, 21:

Easter Vigil, (multilingual) 8:00 p.m. at Saint Joseph’s

Easter Morning

8:30 a.m. - St Joseph's

10:00 a.m. - Sts Peter & Paul

10:00 a.m. - St Mary's
