Saturday, July 4th: Independence Day Mass

9:00 a.m. Outdoor Mass
Weather permitting, Holy Mass in honor of our country's independence day will be held on the parish grounds of St. Joseph. Bring a lawn chair! A reminder that we will ALSO have a Sunday Vigil Mass at 4 p.m. at St. Joseph and at 5:30 p.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Church.

Guidelines for Attending Sunday Mass

Those who are vulnerable, including the elderly and those with chronic diseases, ought to remain home. Those who are sick or symptomatic must stay home. The dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains in effect, and live-streamed Masses will continue to be offered. At Sts. Peter & Paul Church, a maximum of 70 people can gather at each of our two Sunday Masses. Face masks are mandated. The parish will provide face masks for those who do not bring their own. Hand sanitizer will be available at the doors of the church. Maintain a 6 ft. radius of distance from all those who are not in the same household. For now, there will be no congregational singing nor choirs; no processions; no altar servers, or eucharistic ministers. There will be no passing of the collection basket. A large basket will be placed in the middle of the center aisle for your offerings. Communion will be distributed at the very end of the Mass. It is preferable to receive holy communion in the hand. Be sure to lower your face mask just before you receive communion. Everyone is encouraged to stay briefly after Mass to welcome the Lord into their souls in prayerful thanksgiving. People should make sure to leave little by little, maintaining social distance.

Support Our Parish: Sts. Peter & Paul!

Please do your part to bring our parish back to financial health by sending in your weekly donation. A collection basket will be placed in the church aisle at Sunday Mass. Remember: no offertory basket will be passed from row to row. With the disruption that we will see, the very best way to make your contribution is through online contributions. Visit our parish cluster website to register quickly, easily, and securely.
Thank you for your contributions last week!

Food Items Needed

Due to the enormous impact of COVID-19, local aid stations are in need of resources to help those in need. Not everyone has received stimulus checks or unemployment compensation, and as time goes on, the need will grow. You can drop off at the entrance to church non-perishable food items and baby items (diapers and wipes) for St. Vincent de Paul Place and Catholic Charities. Monetary gifts clearly marked for local charity should be placed in the collection basket or mailed to the parish office. Stay up to date on needed items by visiting St. Vincent de Paul Place web page.  Thanks!

¡Gracias!
