Guidelines for Sunday Mass

Those who are sick or symptomatic must stay home. At Saints. Peter & Paul Church, a maximum of 70 people can gather at each of our two Sunday Masses. Face masks are mandated. Maintain a 6 ft. radius of distance from all those who are not in the same household.  A large basket will be placed in the middle of the center aisle for your offerings.  People should make sure to leave little by little, maintaining social distance.

If you can’t physically attend Sunday Mass because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the canonical obligation to attend Sunday Mass is temporarily suspended. Nevertheless, the obligation to worship the Lord on Sunday remains.  If you cannot come to church for Mass on Sunday because of health concerns, take time at home to pray. Make a “Holy Hour” with the Lord. The Spanish 10:00 a.m. Mass will continue to be live-streamed and the 8:30 a.m. Mass will be recorded from St. Joseph Church and later posted on our cluster website.

40 hours of Devotion

It is time! It is past time for us to gather before Our Savior in the Blessed Sacrament to seek grace and favor, strength, and healing in this time of need. The Coronavirus pandemic has separated discouraged us.  People ask, “How long will this go on? How long can we hold on?” Here is an invitation to come to Christ in solemn adoration.  Come to St. Joseph Church on December 4, 5, and 6th with your burdens and your need. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will be held throughout these days. The Sacraments of Reconciliation (confessions), Anointing of the Sick, and Holy Mass will be offered each day along with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament.  Look for announcements of special times of prayer in the various languages of our parish cluster.  Our devotion will have a solemn closing in Polish and English, presided by Msgr. Leszek T. Janik, Vicar General of the diocese, and past pastor of St. Joseph and Sts. Peter and Paul Churches.

Thanksgiving!

Next week, people will take time to gather around a table of plenty to give thanks for God's blessings.  The gatherings may be reduced by concerns about the Covid-19 pandemic.  Our food may be less plentiful because of financial concerns.  Still, we give thanks!
Please join together at the table of the Eucharist during Thanksgiving week.  On Thursday evening, Nov. 24, at 6:30 p.m, there will be a multi-cultural Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Mary Church.  Please come to give thanks to God with the remarkably diverse body of brothers and sisters in our parish cluster.  Also, on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, Nov. 26, we will celebrate a morning Thanksgiving Mass at 8:00 at Saints Peter and Paul Church.
