Dear Father Washabaugh and Parishioners:
It is with great gratitude that I write to you today to thank you so very much for your participation in our 2020 Annual Catholic Appeal, One Faith, One Family. When we launched our 2020 ACA, so many of us were faced with anxiety and concern over the pandemic. You, our faithful, members of 55. Peter and Paul Parish, were not daunted by the challenge presented by the ACA. Faced with your own fears, you turned to Our Lord, Jesus Christ, for strength and in faith, you pledged your support to our ACA.

Because of your desire to carry out Jesus's mandate to "love one another", you have allowed our ACA supported ministries and programs to provide essential food, spiritual guidance, educatiori, compassionate care, and the sacraments to our friends and neighbors. While we all worshipped a little bit differently this year, thanks to our priests livestreaming masses and faith events providing online prayer and support programs, we have only strengthened our faith and come into a closer relationship with our Savior.

Thank you to SS Peter and Paul Parish for your donation of $34,464.75 to the 2020 Annual Catholic AppeaI. You have reached 120.31% of your goal, with 32.98% of your parishioners donating.

As you approach March and our 2021 Annual Catholic Appeal, I pray that you continue to place God at the center of your life and are inspired to yet again rise to the challenge of helping one another as best you are able. I pray that you and your families continue to have good health and feel the love of Jesus every day.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Bishop of Norwich
